The mission of Development International (DI) is to promote multilateral development initiatives that contribute to overall local empowerment for the enhancement of environmental, economic and cultural sustainability; by facilitating communication and collaboration among public agencies, civil society organizations, academia, and the commercial sector in order to improve development practice through the realization of technological and humanitarian solutions for quality of life enhancement globally.

Development International is a nonprofit that works to make global development more successful and sustainable for local communities by helping them take control of their own development initiatives. Development International focuses on all areas of development including womens empowerment cultural enhancement and diversity community sustainability and social justice. Each community determines for itself what constitutes development in its own context as well as the terms on which that development transpires. Development International helps host country project partners develop their project concepts connect to technical experts and present projects to funding agencies while meeting all funder guidelines.
