Camp Awesome is a camping opportunity for children and adults with special needs. It is a place of lo CAMP of South MS is an organization that provides social opportunities for individuals with special needs. Our main program is our summer and weekend camps for both children and adults with special needs. We have an all volunteer staff, and we pair each camper with a teenaged counselor to do typical summer camp activities: swimming, boating, fishing, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor games. The goal is to provide activities that are as inclusive as possible and to provide a chance for neurotypical teenagers to interact positively and in a genuine manner with individuals who have disabilities.
