First in Family - Teton County, Wyoming Scholarships First in Family Jackson Hole provides essential advising and financial support to students in Teton County Wyoming who do not have a family history of higher education. Why Our Work Matters Financial barriers and social disadvantages can prevent first generation students from having an equitable path to college careers and a thriving future. Nationally only 21 of first generation students attend college with only 11 of lowincome first generation students graduating within 6 years. First in Family Jackson Hole aims to change this reality for students in Teton County.
