Midnight Sun Service Dogs
MSSD provides highly trained service dogs to veterans at no cost; we embed PTSD dogs into high-risk active duty squadrons to help mitigate the short and long term effects of PTSD; and, we are doing our part to improve children’s literacy and self-esteem with our Pawsitive Reading program in which veterans and their service dogs visit with an encourage young readers in schools and libraries in our area. MSSD is a 100% volunteer program and a 501c3 organization based in Eagle River, Alaska. These items support our fosters and trainers until the dogs are ready to be matched and placed.
