Our mission is to provide affordable low-cost dental care to low-income Baltimore City residents and Seniors in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area at a minimal cost to improve quality of life. Medicaid is mandated to only provide dental care to children. Medicare does not provide extensive dental care or dental appliances such as dentures. to adults. Lack of dental care causes health problems, usually resorting to emergency room visits for emergencies or painful persistent problems. Lack of dental care leads to infections and poor eating habits. Grant funding will facilitate our non-profit organization to implement a program to provide sliding scale dental care to qualifying adults and accommodate seniors with free dental appliances (dentures) to improve their quality of health.
