Albany Safety Foundation – A private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to community support for the Albany Police & Fire Departments The Foundation has provided training in CPR and proper heart defibrillator AED use to over 7000 8th grade students from Greater Albany Public Schools and Santiam Christian. Additionally we equipped 14 Albany Police Department patrol cars and qualifying City public places with AEDs. Sponsoring several Albany Police and Kids APAK programs such as Bringing Up Learning and Behavior BULB Christmas Shop With A Cop and various other sponsorships for kids in need. You can purchase an AED through the Albany Public Safety Foundation for approximately 1500.
