Recently, in "The D," we had the privilege of co-hosting “Driven to Heal-Assembling Mental Health Solutions Together” at the iconic Ford Piquette Avenue Plant Museum, the birthplace of the Model T. Surrounded by the rich legacy of innovation, we gathered with over 100 professionals from the IECA--Independent Educational Consultants Association Conference held in Detroit, MI to reflect, connect, and collaborate on the future of mental health care. With live jazz, incredible food, and docent-led tours sharing powerful stories of Henry Ford’s vision—like the $5 workday and early rope-driven assembly lines—we were reminded that progress requires both vision and community. In that same spirit, CooperRiis Healing Community joined with our fellow therapeutic farm programs—@Gould Farm, Rose Hill Center, Hopewell, Spring Lake Ranch Therapeutic Community, and co-sponsor Lindner Center of HOPE—to celebrate partnership, possibility, and person-centered care.
