Jookender supports, strengthens, and sustains Russian-speaking Jewish communities in Greater Boston, New England, and the world. We work daily to reconnect non-affiliated Jews and people interested in Judaism to these larger Jewish communities--at their pace, on their time, without membership fees, pressure, or proselytizing. Our approach simply introduces and exposes people to Judaism's rich history, rituals, and traditions. In a welcoming, non-judgmental environment, Jookender offers family-friendly programs and activities that help Russian-speaking Jewish individuals and families find their place in the Boston Jewish community and beyond. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Jookender's programs and activities are led by professionally trained, knowledgeable, and multi-lingual staff

Jookender Mission We strive to support diverse communities of Greater Boston area and New England by teaching and demonstrating Jewish values and by offering programs that assist members in finding their way to the larger Jewish community. Jookender Goals Jookender supports individuals through all stages of life ensuring diversity and inclusion to create strong bonds and offer opportunities for members of various backgrounds and faiths. Jookender Collaborations We foster existing partnerships and explore new collaborations to create opportunities for improved experiences and engagement for our members and partners.
