Utah Nurses Association FacebookLinkedInXPost a job The Utah Nurses Association UNA founded in 1914 advocates for the states over 47000 registered nurses and is the ONLY state organization representing the interests of all nurses regardless of specialty or practice setting. UNA is a voluntary membership based professional nonforprofit organization and is a ConstituentState Nurses Association CSNA of the American Nurses Association ANA UNA leaders represent Utah nursing professional interests in a wide variety of meetings coalitions legislative hearings conferences and work groups throughout the year anticipating and responding to the issues that UNA members have identified as priorities. In addition to numerous meetings with legislators regulators policymakers and leaders of other health care organizations UNA collaborates with specialty nursing organizations such as the Utah Nurse Practitioners Utah Organization of Nurse Leaders and the Utah Action Coalition to advocate for nursing professionals and the health of all Utahns. Membership in UNA is a dual membership in the American Nurses Association ANA which now represents over 5 million nurses across the nation.
