Gemstones in the Sun is a tool, a sacred space where stories are shared and community is formed in support of a shift and our collective emancipation from beliefs, practices and usages of time, money, and resources that belie who we are and that which created us, and all. Gemstones in the Sun serves as a calling card. It invites the interfaith community of color in America — the descendants of immigrants, the indigenous, and the enslaved, who are students and professors, social justice activists, grassroots organizers, and healthy skeptics, who (primarily) still believe in the idea that “another world is possible,” to commune and share their experiences with faith, belief, money, and resources.
