The network is committed to bringing together interdisciplinary health care professionals and advocacy agencies to facilitate communication and collaboration among providers who support and treat transgender/non-binary individuals and their families. The network strives to provide opportunities to members in the areas of enhanced educational knowledge, supervision, training opportunities, and the latest medical and mental health treatment modalities, in order to promote respect, dignity, and compassion in working with these populations. The goal is to increase access to quality care for this community.

Transgender Health Education Network Bringing Trans Healthcare into the Future Transgender Health Education Network THEN is a nonprofit organization that serves the greater North Central Florida region bringing together a network of healthcare providers that share the goal of offering informed and compassionate care to Transgender and Gender Diverse individuals. Quality affirming healthcare is challenging to access for Transgender and Gender Diverse individuals especially in rural areas like North Central Florida. THEN seeks to address inequities in access to care by identifying affirming and informed healthcare providers and linking those providers to a network of likeminded colleagues. We also aim to provide uptodate continuing education in transgender healthcare.
