Protect, promote and enhance the economic opportunities and long-term viability for El Dorado County farmers, ranchers and foresters THE EL DORADO COUNTY FARM BUREAU IS AN ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION REPRESENTING LOCAL FARMERS AND AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS ON LOCAL AND STATE ISSUES THAT IMPACT THEIR OPERATIONS.THE ORGANIZATION PROMOTES EDUCATION ON AGRICULTURAL RELATED ISSUES AND COMMODITIES. THERE IS JOINT EFFORT WITH UC COOPERATIVE EXTENSION AND THE AGRICULTURAL COMMISSIONER.The Farm Bureau's mission is to 'Protect, encourage, and enhance economic opportunities and social viability for El Dorado County farmers, ranchers, and foresters', while representing the needs and interests of all El Dorado County farming families.
