THE SOCIETY OF CHAIRS OF ACADEMIC RADIOLOGY (SOCIETY OR SCARD) IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF RADIOLOGY BY THE PROMOTION OF MEDICAL EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND PATIENT CARE, THE DEVELOPMENT OF METHODS OF UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE TEACHING IN RADIOLOGY, AND THE PROVISION OF A FORUM FOR DISCUSSION OF PROBLEMS AND MUTUAL INTERST AMONG RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT CHAIRPERSONS.
