It is estimated that Carcinosarcomas account for only 14 of all Ovarian cancers. Unfortunately there is no treatment for her specific type of Ovarian cancer and there is a major need for research and clinical trials. Ovarian Carcinosarcoma is often treated with extensive surgery followed by chemotherapies used in more common types of Ovarian Cancer.
