Celebrating Korean American Creativity at Frieze New York! 🖼️ On May 7, the Council of Korean Americans (CKA), Tina Kim Gallery, Kukje Gallery, and Frieze Seoul co-hosted the third annual Frieze VIP Reception at Oiji Mi during Frieze New York. 🇰🇷🇺🇸 Subscribe to the CKA Newsletter and be the first to receive updates on events, community initiatives, and news like this: https://hubs.li/Q03n8Grt0 This gathering welcomed over 170 Korean American and Asian American leaders, art collectors, curators, investors, and cultural advocates from across the country. Together, guests celebrated Korean and Korean American contributions to contemporary art while fostering new connections across sectors. Held as part of CKA’s Arts, Culture, Entertainment & Sports (ACES) Initiative, the reception provided a powerful space to uplift Korean American voices, build community through cultural appreciation, and spark collaboration in the arts. 💙 Thank you to our co-hosts, partners, and all who joined us for this inspiring evening! 💡 CKA’s mission is to advance the national voice and influence of the Korean American community.
