Boerne Reads is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children in Kendall County. Our mission is to foster a love of reading and strengthen reading skills through access to books and read aloud programming. Our vision is that every child in Kendall County has equal access to books and the opportunity to develop a love of reading through the gift of books and read aloud experiences. We believe that classrooms and local social service organizations are the best way to reach children, so our support extends to teachers and other local nonprofits. Boerne Reads not only shows kids how much fun reading can be, but how important reading is for success in academics and life.
