At the historic Cotton Museum in downtown Memphis we’re re-discovering the American South and telling the dynamic story of the plant that built the Bluff City. Sharing the story of the cotton and its many influences on daily life, the arts, and the development of the region with students and visitors. We accomplish this through interpretive exhibits, educational programs, and research archives on the floor of the historic Memphis Cotton Exchange in the city that remains the epicenter of worldwide cotton trading.
