Ami Pup Rescue Inc
We are a local dog rescue located on beautiful Anna Maria Island. Helping pets in need of homes. AMI Pup Rescue, Inc. is dedicated to the care of abandoned or unwanted dogs in our local shelters and in the community. AMI Pup removes dogs from shelters to an AMI Pup foster home. The dog is spayed or neutered, and we ensure vaccinations are current on the dogs as well as care for other medical conditions that are identified by the shelter and our veterinarian. Each of our dogs is microchipped. Our foster homes provide care, love, and training as we identify the right adopter for the dog based on its needs. AMI Pup provides continuing education to the community. We educate, through social media and public events, on the importance of microchipping dogs, early spay/neuter and heartworm prevention. We provide resource info or free and low cost microchipping and spay/neuter.

Our rescues live in homes with foster families who give them love care and get to know their personalities. Many of our families end up adopting their foster dogs as they just canx27t let them go. Our fosters are gold to us because without a foster home we canx27t pull a dog in need.
