“Knowing You Matter exists for the purpose of showing You...the one considering, the one who’s surviv Knowing You Matter aims to break the stigma surrounding the topics of suicide and mental health. Our organization exists to raise suicide awareness and promote emotional health and wellness through community outreach and connections to resources in San Luis Obispo County and beyond. Knowing You Matter utilizes multiple levels of outreach to offer healing, build a community of connectivity and support, and bring hope to: • The one considering suicide, • The one who has survived an attempt, and • Those affected by the loss of a loved one by suicide Our core message is: Your life is worth living. You are not alone. You matter.
