Our mission is to uplift the lives of the underserved in Guatemala through healthcare and education. The mission of Faith In Practice is to improve the physical, spiritual, and economic conditions of the poor in Guatemala through short-term surgical, medical, and dental mission trips and health-related educational programs. Our mission is based on an ecumenical understanding that as people of God we are called to demonstrate the love and compassion that is an outward sign of God's presence among us. Faith In Practice's life-changing medical mission is to minister to the poor, while providing a spiritually enriching experience for our volunteers.

Home - Faith In Practice In response to Gods call Faith In Practice provides medical care to the poor of Guatemala Each year more than 2500 volunteers provide healthcare to more than 17000 through an integrated and coordinated network of care. Faith In Practice is committed to serving the poor of Guatemala through integrated medical mission that strives to reach those who are in greatest need. While volunteers cover their own expenses to serve in Guatemala Share The Mission provides funds for medical supplies infrastructure and patient care.

This week in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, Team 874 SLMC is delivering compassionate care and restoring independence for individuals with mobility challenges. 💙 Our team is providing: ✅ Medical assessments ✅ Physical therapy consultations ✅ Distribution of essential mobility aids — including wheelchairs, walkers, and more Every patient reminds us that faith becomes real when it meets a need.
