Fundamedios | Fundamedios EN LA REGION Restricciones a la libertad de prensa y asfixia mediatica en el contexto electoral de Venezuela Ante el contexto preocupante en Venezuela y dada la celebracion de las elecciones presidenciales el 28 de julio cuyos resultados estuvieron marcados por la falta de transparencia y de mecanismos de verificacion que hasta hoy siguen sin ser aplicados de forma efectiva un grupo de organizaciones internacionales conformaron una Mision de observacion del estado de la prensa en Venezuela. Fue conformada por Free dom House Fundacion para la Libertad de Prensa Fundamedios Committee to Protect Journalists Reporteros Sin Fronteras Free Press Unlimited Voces del Sur y con apoyo de la red IFEX ALC. EN ECUADOR Periodistas y Policia Nacional construyendo puentes para una comunicacion efectiva Se realizo la octava mesa de dialogo del Programa Regional de Relacionamiento entre Policia Nacional y Periodistas organizado por Fundamedios la Policia Nacional del Ecuador y el Centro de Ginebra para la Gobernanza del Sector Seguridad con el apoyo de la Embajada de la Republica Federal de Alemania. Este evento reunio a diez jefes de unidades operativas de los subsistemas preventivo investigativo e inteligencia de la Policia Nacional con diez editores directores y representantes de medios de comunicacion.
