Wisdoms Edge Foundation Incorporated
Wisdom’s Edge Foundation, Inc., works to promote philosophical inquiry by means of engaging discussion and dialogue that utilizes tools from the Good Thinker’s Toolkit developed by Thomas Jackson in communities that do not have access to traditional philosophy courses at the university: retirement centers, homeless shelters, children’s centers and prisons. Our community outreach seeks to improve literacy, critical thinking, and oral communication skills while helping one to find purpose in life. The secondary purpose of Wisdom’s Edge is to promote and support the discipline of philosophy by providing jobs for graduates in philosophy and philosophy-related fields as well as provide opportunities for creative projects that promote philosophical ideas.
