Empowering young people through music to write their own success story. Art as Mentorship empowers young people of all backgrounds to raise their voice using songwriting and other artistic expressions as a vehicle to instill emotional intelligence, discipline, and job skills. Art as Mentorship’s mission is to empower young people to write their own success stories. Our year-round programming braids youth mentorship and community empowerment through our Rebel Song Academy and the expansive AMERI’KANA Project. We envision an inclusive community where historically underrepresented artists are emboldened to raise their voices through music while learning job skills, life skills and receiving connections to mental health support.
