THE MISSION OF THE NEXTGEN CO-OP ALLIANCE IS TO ADVANCE PRINCIPLED POLICIES AND PRACTICES THAT ENABLE DISTRIBUTION CO-OPS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF NEW AND EMERGING POWER RESOURCES NOW AND INTO THE FUTURE. TO THAT END, WE ARE DEDICATED TO RESTORING LOCAL CONTROL OVER POWER SUPPLY DECISIONS AND PROMOTING A CLEANER, MORE COST-EFFECTIVE POWER SUPPLY.

NEXTGen Cooperatives Leading the charge for change Energizing the future of distribution coops Who we are The NextGen Coop Alliance NGCA is a broadbased coalition of electric coops brought together by the common desire to serve our communities and driven to do what is best for our memberowners. For many of us our members are best served through deploying new technologies such as solar storage microgrids hydrogen and other distributed energy resources. The members of NGCA share a collective goal of supporting coops to obtain the best technology and resources for our members. We understand that not every Coop may want to transition to renewable energy but we all agree that regardless of power supply we all listen and are driven by our memberowners.
