VisionTo ensure breastfeeding is recognized as the normal method of infant and young child feeding in Placer County all health care providers in Placer County will be knowledgeable about promote and provide support for breastfeeding and every woman in Placer County will have access to the information resources and community support necessary to breastfeed for as long as she wishes. Goals Improve the access for Placer County families to comprehensive current and culturally appropriate breastfeeding care and services. Promote breastfeeding awareness and education for health care providers and agencies serving new mothers and their families.
