Meet Our Animals We are a nonprofit 501c3 humane society that provides food shelter medical care adoption opportunities spayneuter clinics TNR Program and education to the towns of Harrison County IA. We became a nonprofit in November of 2005 working out of the homes of volunteers at times. In November of 2011 we acquired our 1st building to establish the dog and cat kennels in a central location along with offering adoptions and low cost spayneuter for the dogs and cats of Harrison County. In January of 2023 we opened our new building that will house the adoptable dogs and cats while our current building will serve as housing for intakes and animals in need of medical care before they are ready for adoption.
