MAINELY MUTTS ANIMAL RESCUE
Founded in 2019, Mainely Mutts Animal Rescue is a non-profit, all-breed, all-volunteer rescue organization based in southern Maine. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs from southern states, as they struggle with overpopulation, abuse, neglect, and difficult legislative practices. The goal of MMAR is to place our dogs in loving, responsible, forever homes, after a comprehensive adoption process. We strive to find the perfect home match for our rescues, while providing education, resources, and support to every family. Our volunteers are committed to every dog beyond the adoption process. As a team, MMAR values transparency, honesty, and communication, all while keeping each dog’s best interests at the center of what we do.
