Good running shoes are expensive, but they don’t have to be a barrier to young runners just entering the sport. Running competitively is challenging enough for youth athletes and their families so we work to remove the financial barrier of running trainers and spikes. We work with many track and cross-country coaches in all regions of Virginia to identify young runners who need our support to provide affordable running shoes, spikes, socks, or other gear needed to have a successful racing season.
