Fire Museum of Jefferson City Home Our Mission The mission of the Jefferson City Fire Museum is to preserve the history of the Jefferson City Fire Department. We are the stewards for the preservation and presentation of the history of the fire department. Our museum places great emphasis on educating the public of the role the department had in the development of Jefferson City. The Jefferson City Fire Museum has a goal of educating the public on the extensive history of the Jefferson City Fire Department.
