Canine Rescue, Rehabilitation & Education: Rescuing great dogs in dire situations, one paw at a time! The Maggie Society Rescue, Rehabilitation and Education is a 501c3 nonprofit organization in eastern North Carolina, located in Wilson county but serving nearby areas. Our organization is dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected, and abandoned dogs. We are a foster-based rescue and can only intake when we have volunteer foster homes available. We work with owner-surrendered dogs and puppies and offer to cover the cost of spaying and neutering when taking in a full litter. Our goal is to reduce the number of unwanted animals in our shelters and in our community through education and spay and neuter. Additionally, we pull from area shelters and network with other rescue groups.
