In The Rough Equine Rescue
ITR is a 501(c)3 horse rescue located in Newport, MI focused on saving skinnies, minis, and mamas. At ITR, we are hopelessly devoted to saving equines with integrity and compassion.
We focus on pulling emaciated horses, miniature horses, and mares with foals at their side or who might be pregnant from auctions and kill lots.
Our mission is to provide a better future for horses that have been failed by humans and have found themselves in a rough spot.
We believe that every horse deserves a safe and comfortable place to call home, and we work tirelessly to give them that experience.
