Karen Hilburn Cancer Fund
Established in 2004, the mission of the Karen Hilburn Cancer Fund (KHCF) is to help Mason County residents with medical expenses for breast, cervical, ovarian, uterine and endometrial cancers, along with Gardasil Vaccinations to prevent the HPV infection. THE KAREN HILBURN CANCER FUND RAISES FUNDS FOR THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF BREAST, CERVICAL, OVARIAN, UTERINE AND ENDOMETRIAL CANCERS FOR UNINSURED AND UNDER-INSURED RESIDENTS OF MASON COUNTY. ADDITIONALLY, THE FUND MAKES CONTRIBUTIONS TO MASON HEALTH FOR THE PURCHASE OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT USED FOR DIAGNOSING AND TREATING CANCER.
