The mission of the Stillwater Historical Society, through the Museum of the Beartooths, is to collect To record and preserve the history and artifacts of Stillwater County and the vicinity. To build, maintain and operate a local museum to house and display a collection of such artifacts and memorabilia deemed to be unique to our area and typical of the period of discovery, settlement and development of that area.
