From the Bylaws - Article IThe Corporation is organized to operate exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding sections of any future federal tax code. To provide objective and independent leadership in helping to meet the physical, social and emotional needs of elderly and disabled persons through development of service facilities and programs appropriate to their usage; to work with public and private, national, state and local agencies, organizations and institutions in extending such services to the elderly and disabled persons.
