AccessCare
AccessCare's mission is to coordinate the provision of health care services to the underserved populations in rural North Carolina. AccessCare is a network of about 300 voluntary North Carolina primary care physician practices located in rural areas throughout the state. We serve over 200,000 Medicaid enrollees. We have a contract with the State of North Carolina to provide cost-effective, quality improvement health care programs. AccessCare hires mostly Nurse Case Managers who work with their local health care communities to provide free care coordination services to our clients.
