501-c-3 NON-PROFIT HORSE RESCUE We are saving all horses in need throughout Broward County and EIA positive horses in Florida as well. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Horse Rescue & Sanctuary is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization F.R.I.E.N.D.S. mission is to provide sanctuary to every horse we accept. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. does not buy, sell, trade or give away horses. Instead, we give them a lifetime of sanctuary so they will never be in pain or in need of help again. We also, accept all carriers of Equine Infectious Anemia(EIA) within the state of Florida. We also accept any horse in immediate need of assistance in Broward County & our surrounding areas. Our priority is to prevent the needless destruction of horses & to provide these noble animals with the dignity of allowing them to live out their lives while meeting their needs; providing them with the proper care & loving interactions they deserve. We offer various programs to the community with opportunities to learn about, care for & how to handle horses safely.
