Our mission is to be a source of joy that inspires a sense of belonging for people with disabilities. One of our key programs is the Forget-Me-Not Friends Club. Ask us about hosting a card party! Our mission is to be a source of joy for people with disabilities that inspires a sense of belonging. Currently, one in four people of all ages lives with a disability that requires additional caregiving to get through their day. Over 40% of people with a disability that keeps them from living, working, or playing without assistance do not have a loved one or friend to provide extra care or advocate for them. This means that they are not remembered on their birthday, holidays, and often they are just forgotten by our community. We can offer a space for friendship, belonging, and remembering. One of the ways we do this is through our Forget-Me-Not Friends Club. We send cards, small gifts, and fun stuff throughout the year to club members. It is a small gesture with a giant impact.
