We are so happy to share with you another staff shoutout! We are showing appreciation for Ricco Medina, our Director of Facilities. Ricco has been with us for five months now and has already made such an impact here at Guest House. When asked about his time here at Guest House, Ricco said, “Working at Guest House has been a blessing. As a Facilities Director, I have learned over the years that it takes a whole team of individuals for things to run smoothly and efficiently. Since I have started at Guest House, not only has the staff helped out with various projects, but the clients have joined in to make Guest House an inviting place for men to find help. Being able to interact and work alongside the clients that we serve has been a humbling experience. This is more than just a job to me, and as I continue on this journey with the Guest House family to prevent homelessness, I see hope even when there are obstacles to overcome. The staff and leadership at Guest House have opened my eyes to what true caring and kindness look like. The Guest House is the best house, and it truly shows through everyone who walks through the doors. I am grateful to be a part of the Guest House family and the mission it serves.” Ricco has stepped beyond his role as Facilities Director to create meaningful relationships with the men here at Guest House. He is dedicated to providing them with opportunities to be involved and develop skills that they can utilize for the rest of their lives, while also maintaining the day to day needs of Guest House and keeping it in its best condition.
