𝑫𝒐𝒘𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒐𝒎𝒆. Despite high winds + 40* weather at the end of May, over 20 volunteers took time this morning to beautify our community! Our 18 planters that line Front Street got a complete refresh with new evergreens + flowers. In record time, all planted in less than an hour! 🌿 Shout out to @gardeningwithpetittis Tallmadge for these beautiful plants + @asteriskcoffeebar for warming up our volunteers with a post-planting beverage ☕️ As a community based nonprofit - we can't carry out our mission without YOU! Today volunteers from @mysummitdd took the afternoon to clean up our downtown then headed over to High Bridge Glens Park to learn about our butterfly garden + helped weed and plant new native pollinators! 🐝🌼🗑️ Thank you to @wbucuyahogafalls for stopping by and talking to us about wildlife + some Q&A about our local friends 🪶🪺 We are grateful for Bryce Pulley from @cuyahogafallsoh for organizing this clean up with supplies + education about sustainability and to Amy Kelly-Lancki of @mysummitdd for efforts to the #summittddgivesback program 🧡 Can't brag about our community partners enough!
