Home - Laundromat Project

We bring art, artists, and arts programming into laundromats and other everyday spaces to amplify the creativity that already exists within our communities. The Laundromat Project advances artists and neighbors as change agents in their own communities. Founded in 2005, The LP is a Black-rooted and People of Color (POC)-centered arts and social justice organization that advances artists and neighbors as change agents in their own communities. Through our programming, we work with communities and artists to creatively consider and address critical issues such as racial justice, environmental justice, legacy building, LGBTQIA+ safe spaces, and community care, to name only a few.
