Committed to Making a Difference A Charitable Arm of the Houston Young Lawyers Association WHAT WE DO WHO WE ARE Enhancing the quality of life The Houston Young Lawyers Foundation was created in 1992 to support the charitable programs of young lawyers in Harris County. The Foundations mission is to improve the quality and availability of legal aid health human welfare and education services provided by Greater Houston nonprofit organizations through targeted volunteering and grants while building leadership capability through a deeper appreciation of giving. HYLFs mission is to improve the quality and availability of legal aid health human welfare and education. Through events and programs we raise funds to support local charities that give back to the community in ways that further this mission.
