McKinleyville continues to get more festive as we gear up for Pony Express Days 2025! Make sure to swing by The Center at 1615 Heartwood Drive and check out their beautiful window painting by local artist David Mata. This design adds to the spirit of this year's theme: "Where Trails Lead to Community." David shares: “This triptych window painting embraces the theme ‘where trails lead to community.’ Baskets, crafted with care from the time and effort spent in the mountains, symbolize the journey we undertake in life. Follow this path as it guides you from the elevated terrains down to the beaches, while the sweathouse provides a place for rest, reflection, and clarity from the journey.
