Carter CDC It takes children to raise a village Home The mission of the Joseph Sarah Carter Community Development Corporation is to improve the general quality of life in the Historic East Linden Neighborhood of Kennett Square and in our surrounding communities. In 2004 East Linden seemed to be sinking. Negative street life demoralized the neighborhood. But a group of residents began to meet regularly to change the course of the community and through discussion and example the Carter CDC then called the Historic East Linden Project began to rebuild a healthy neighborhood.
