The Progress XChange BIG CHANGES TO THE ACT STARTING APRIL 2025 BE PREPARED. Effective later this year the updated format of the ACT will be shorter and the Science section will be optional. This format will be updated after NC students sit for the exam through their respective school districts in early March 2025. act.
