One pound of weight and one mile for each officer down. Each weight to represent the burden that a law enforcement officer takes home with them at the end of each day. Every mile in memory of an officer that carried that weight to the end. TO PROVIDE CHARITABLE SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY BY RAISING AWARENESS OF THE DIFFICULTIES FACED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT AND TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL AND OTHER SUPPORT TO FAMILIES OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS INJURED OR KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY.
