Thank you to Congressman Steny Hoyer for hosting this great event at the Capitol to honor the 35th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The event included a screening of a new PBS Documentary, Change, Not Charity: The Americans with Disabilities Act, and a panel with key legislators at the time of passage in 1990. The Autism Society celebrates the anniversary of the vital, civil rights legislation and continues to advocate for full inclusion.
