DFW Foster Parent Association
The mission of the DFWFPA is to advocate for all those who care about children and their families. We work supportively with foster, adoptive, and kinship families, and with local foster parent associations and agencies who care for the children. DFWFPA participates in state and local social service workgroups, advisory boards, commissions, and councils. As informed resource parents and team members, the DFWFPA community shares their years of experience to provide their input and guidance in areas such as general care and procedures, accessing mental and physical health services, and teen care, etc.
