BNJ HUSKY RESCUE
We started BnJ Husky Rescue because of the love and passion we have for Northern Breed dogs. We found that most animal shelters in California treat Northern Breed dogs badly. They are almost always listed as "Rescue Only" and not adoptable by the public. This causes a huge number of these dogs to die daily! So BnJ Husky Rescue was born.The shelters come up with reasons of bad behavior which is just wrong. Any dog will react badly to anyone in power at a shelter, basically these dogs are in prison and these people are their prison guards. Northern Breed dogs do not do well in cages, they are too active and go a bit crazy when confined.We look for dogs that are "Code Red", which means they are on the Euthanasia List and will die if not rescued. We coordinate with shelters to get dog pulled out and then they go to Fosters or Adoptive Parents where they are SAFE!

Ok everyone here an update on the 4 Cali pups that was coming. They made it in and are doing well, they are starting to decompress, but are still very skittish around people, we are going to give them a couple days and then start the long journey of getting them acclimated with human contact. Please stay tuned on their journey.

BNJ HUSKY RESCUE
Update on the Cali Mom and Pups, 6 of the 8 has been caught, vetted, and on transport, 2 pups went to a Colorado rescue who was willing and opened their hearts up to help in this effort to save them, they were delivered this morning to the rescue, the other 4 are on their way now to BnJ and will arrive tomorrow afternoon. We will be posting up photos as soon as they arrive and get settled in. Please stay tuned for their new journey in life as we dillagently work with them to get them ready for adoption.
