SPACE'S MISSION IS TO EMPOWER OUR YOUTH TO DISCOVER AND TRUST IN THEIR INNATE ABILITY TO BE CREATIVE, RESPONSIBLE, AND COMPASSIONATE INDIVIDUALS THROUGH EFFECTIVE TRAINING IN DANCE, THEATER, MUSIC, AND CULTURAL EDUCATION. THE SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS AND CULTURAL EDUCATION (AKA SPACE) PROVIDES CLASSES IN DANCE, ACTING, MUSICAL THEATRE, AND ART IN A CULTURALLY DIVERSE CONTEXT.

Performing Arts Classes for ages infant to teens in Music Together Contemporary and Street Dance Musical Theater Acting Improvisation and More. Upcoming Events SPACE presents Scenes Monologues from American Playwrights an open showing performed by young teens in a new acting class at SPACE on Saturday April 12 at 2pm and 6pm. The class taught by Kate Magruder and Alicia Littletree Bales has been developing this fortyfive minute showcase for the past 8 weeks and it will feature excerpts from Youre a Good Man Charlie Brown as well as scenes from Neil Simons Brighton Beach Memoirs and William Inges Bus Stop.
