And we also ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.-1 John 3:16 (NIV) Love INC of Greater Merced mobilizes local churches to transform lives and communities in the Name of Christ. We are a network of 32 churches throughout Merced County that help provide basic human resources such as food assistance, furniture & household items, transportation to medical appointments, infant & toddler supplies and much more to individuals and families in need.Approximately, 90% of the people we serve meet the poverty criteria for Merced County. We attempt to help alleviate the impact of poverty of people's lives through resources, life skills education and mentoring. Our Love Plus program offers life skills workshops in money management, soft vocational skills, decision-making, health & nutrition, healthy relationships and community stewardship. Participants are matched with mentors that help them process workshop materials and set personal goals for themselves and their families.
